1969 Olds 442 W-30

WOW! All original 442 W-30. This is the Holiday Coupe in Platinum, with a black vinyl roof and black W-30 Stripes. A very rare car indeed. Only about 1,389 W-30s were made in 1969, of that 1,097 were the Holiday Coupe, less than half were made with automatics, who knows how many in this color combination.

Only 21,462 miles as of April 2, 2005. It still has the original wiper blades, headlights, weatherstripping, interior, ram-air components and much more.

As beautiful on the inside as the outside. Not many options on this car - Automatic with console, AM Radio with a rear speaker, an eight track and the rear window defroster - that's it. As with most of the car the upholstery is all original, only the carpet has been replaced.

Beautiful lines with a stunning paint job make this W30 a stand out in any crowd. All original body panels and as straight as the day she rolled off the production floor. Completely rust free, even the underside of the car looks virtually brand new.

Awesome engine compartment. The 1969 W-30 was a factory blueprinted engine with special high flowing heads and a big cam. No power brakes were available since there was not enough vacuum at idle to support the booster. And, of course, no AC was available. Under rated at 360 horsepower, the owner's documentation included an advisory to replace the stock exhaust manifolds with headers.

Only in the 60's.

Check out the ram-air scoops under the bumper. These are part of the Outside Air Induction (OAI) package which was only available with the W cars.

Looks great from every angle.
